Lately, there are various new shows and movies based on start-up businesses which inspire others to follow their own business dream. You might say: “I have a great idea! - Touch base: to meet and talk about. This term is used when you’re working on the same project with someone. The term more descriptly means that you will meet and talk about work or a particular idea or goal, usually business-related. You may say: “let’s touch base at lunch today. I want to discuss the project in detail.
- On the same page: having the same idea. The term might emphasize that your way of thinking about a particular subject is the same. It may also convey that you have the same point of view or opinion as someone else. For example, you can say: “are we on the same page here?” “I want to jump on this assignmnet ASAP.”
